It does weird me out...that they're siblings, yet have a 'romantic' relationship. I suppose if they weren't siblings they would rank 2nd on my list of fave VK couples ^-^

Don't get me wrong, I don't like KanamexYuuki as much as the next hater, but having sibling romantic relationships is quite common in manga, besides were I'm from cousins are allowed to get married XD So culture wise it isn't to big of a deal to me...

The reason I don't like KanamexYuuki is how obsessive her crush was (also, it's sexist). I mean, really Yuuki? How many times do I have to hear you angst on how 'That day Kaname saved me'.

Well to be honest with you all, i do find their relationship weird and not pure. As sure they were engaged when they were children, but i think its just wrong to marry your own elder brother just because you want to keep the blood pure (like what the royal Eygptians did). And sure Kaname protected her from that blood hungry vampire when she was young and lost her memory, but honestly, Kaname doesn't give her any freedom and treats her a little kid that been held back by their own mother from exploring the world...

Can you imagine the life Yuuki would have if she went off with Zero and not with Kaname, but Yuuki was still a pureblood vampire? beacuse if you can, message me and tell me what you think life would be for the two...

haven't gone too far yet but as far as I'm concerned,
even if they aren't related, their so called 'love' for each other isn't natural at all, it's kinda weird....like Yuki is just infactuated on Kaname, for the stupid reason, he' saved her that day...but!! did you see how many times ZERO SAVED HER AS WELL? and she's not like noticing his contributions, geez... her attitude it's just plain annoying~ , like maybe the reason she choose Kaname now it's cuz he is powerful pureblood than Zero so he can protect her...but in a love romantic relationship? NO WAY... cuz the way Yuki and Zero interact with each other, it's more natural and couple like relationship to me- how they quarrel (remember the saying, 'You always hurt the ones you love?" and care for each other, it's much more sweeter than the manipulative love Kaname has for Yuki. the Kaname x Yuki fanbase is for the immature girls who still dotes on just the 'goodlooking' guys. while there's a caring guy by your side and you don't notice him (which is Zero I'm talking about) ;P

Even though they're not really siblings, they're still related - he's her ancestor. And the fact that they were initially raised as siblings and that they got into a relationship with her still believing he was her brother has to be make it as least pseudo-incestuous. I know it's normal within the story, they're vampires so there's no taboo and no chance of their kids being genetically harmed, and Haruka and Juuri were also siblings but they're cute.... still.....
