I really doubt so. I think it's all a matter of opinions.

So you're implying that they're just envious because they'll never find someone with qualities like Edward's and Jacob's (or for guy's, someone with qualities like Bella's)?
I'll have to disagree. I think most of them have negative issues with the plot and character development. It has nothing to do with the fact that 'they will never find a guy like the Cullen's or the Blacks, or if your a boy Bella'.

I'm pretty sure that's not the reason. There are some people who actually don't want their own Jacob Black or Edward Cullen. I think they just don't like the plotline.

Edward Cullen is not the ideal boyfriend. And neither is Jacob. I'd like someone who gives me a little more independence than either of them offer Bella. Not that she'd know the difference, but still . . .

i dont know why being jealous of fictional characters has to be the reason why somebody likes or dosent like the books... i personally like the books but everyone has their own opinions, but i doubt they dont like it because they are jealous of the characters...

I totally agree with you alexajaye, aithough I might consider Jacob. If you want to know my idea guy watch the show my icon is from and pay attention to the man most associated with the pictured character. Not that I'd go after any fictional character, but I'm just saying there's better than Edward or Jacob.

Wooow people, somebody likes it, somebody doesn't, it's just someone's personal opinion. I love it because of the story, but a lot people hate it because it's too unreal........ :)

I just think they don't like it and It's not their type of movie.it just a matter of opinion,not everbody is going to like the same movies.truthfully at one time I did not like twilight because one i never saw it.two because not many guys liked it.three I thought Edward,Bella and Jacob were the only characters in the movie because they were talked about and shown alot.but from actually taking the chance and seeing it. i've learned to think differently.actually the reason why I decided to watch twilight is actually an interesting story.though I don't think many people would want to hear it anyhoo..

Yup, Ive said it before and ill agree with you now that youve mentioned it. Its a difference between not being interested and hating it. Those who it didnt capture there interest after reading it or even if they dont want to read it, thats fine, just a difference of opinion. But those who say they hate it and go out of there way to post negative blogs and say negative things about the book, Stephenie, and the characters are just pure haters that are so jealous that they dont/cant/wont have these type of friends in their lives. Its just like a girl who goes on and on about how she hates her ex, please, she wouldnt fool anybody, she rags on him so much because she still has feelings for him, if she was over him, she wouldnt have anything to say and the mention of his name wouldnt bother her. Thats how i feel about Twilight haters. If it wasnt something they envied about the books or characters, they would just simply say its not for me or have nothing to say at all.
