Hm. I don't think I'd ever want to hear thoughts. Thoughts are private. Your mind is the one place where you can think what you like and no one should be able to judge/reprimand you for it, which Edward did often.

I already wrote a big ass comment before about why I would want Alice's visions over Edwards power but I think I would also want Jaspers. Being able to manipulate emotions would be an extremely good power, do you think, hypothetically, he could get someone to have a panic attack? Like the complete opposite of making them calm?
I owuldn't want to do that obviously, I was just wondering =D

Edward's Hearing. That would really kick a big clown's ass! I mean imagine if your BFF had a problem but wouldn't spill, you'd know but wouldn't be able to tell them obv, but you'd know. And you'd be able to know the minds of all the populars!! :D

Edward's power is sort of selfish, even though he can't help it. I agree with kateliness2, your mind is you're only private sanctuary and shouldn't be stolen. Jasper's power is aweseome in a jam though. He has so much potential, but is pushed off to the side. Only thing is, I hate manipulative people, so Aro's power would probably be my second choice, even though that' also selfish..... (Sheesh! Why, people, why?!)

Shield,you can protect the ones around,well in the mind anyway.It would be in some ways more useful,and it would be cool,fun to have,and fun to get used to and practice.
