As I crept silently on the pebbly road, I thought of Nessie and Jasper. Oh poor, poor Jasper. He was one of them now. One of those evil monsters. I hated them with vast passion. I felt angry and my face was on constant grimace, but I kept my cool. I had to. If I didn’t, I would blow my cover. It was evening and the sky was a happy orange. The clouds looked like they were lined with silver thread and dotted in the happy sky. The ground was smothered with golden autumn leaves like an aquatic of emas ingots.
