~Chasing Cars~ [song my Snow Patrol]


Over Thanksgiving, Alice had convinced me to let her cut my hair. And surprisingly, I absolutly cinta it. I keep thinking about what Edward will think about it, then I remember me and Edward aren't going to happen. I have Mason to think about and his wife passed away only a tahun ago.

Black Friday had been crazy. Alice got in a fight with some blonde over a giant pantat, keledai tv to go in her room. Alice won. Rose got the boots she had been dying for, and Emmett's tool set. I had been able to get Mason's new tempat tidur set for his room. He has been hounding me about giving him a new room because his room is for babies. So, after his sepakbola game on Saturday, he's going over to Alice's so I can do his room.

I dropped him off with Rose, on time today, and made my way to the hospital. I clipped my I.D. on my srub and made my way up the stairs.

"Belly! You're on time." Emmett yelled to me.

"I know! First time since ever." I laughed.

"Morning, Ang." I smiled.

"Morning, Bella. Oh, Dr. Cullen wants to see anda in his office."

"Okay." I took a couple steps then stopped. "Wait, which Cullen?"

"Edward." she smirked, then continued her computer work.

Thud. Thud.

I could ear my jantung beat in my ears, I could feel it beating against my rib cage.

I walked down the hall, trying to steady my jantung rate, to Edward's office and knocked on his already opened door.

"You wanted to see me, Dr. Cullen?" I asked.

He looked up and laughed. "Did anda just call me Dr. Cullen? Last time I checked I was Edward."

I blushed. "Okay. anda wanted to see me...Edward?"

"Yes I did." He smiled. "I haven't got a chance to properly thank anda for talking to me last week." He sat on the edge of his desk, his hands in his lap.

I walked over to him and placed my hand on his. "You don't have to thank me, Edward. anda needed to talk and for someone to listen."

"Well, I feel like I do. So, how about I make makan malam for anda tonight? At my place? I think it would only be fair to let anda into my home, since anda let me in yours."

"Thank would be great but-"

"Bring him." He stated simply.

"Edward-"

"Bring Mason, bring yourself, and I will bring myself. I will call anda to give anda directions."

"Edward." I sighed.

"Now, I have a sick little girl I need to go check on." He winked and left, brushing my shoulder as he passed. "Oh." he turned around. "Your hair....beautiful." He turned back around and turned the corner.

I took a deep breath and turned the same corner.

"Bella!"

I jumped and covered my jantung with my hand. "God, Alice."

"Sorry. I know, 'You know the rules about scaring me when I'm thinking about boys'." She laughed. When she would scare me back in high school, I used to tell her that for laughs. The only boy I ever thought about was Riley. Now...Edward.

"Thinking about Riley, again?" she sighed and hooked her arm thorugh mine.

"No." I sighed. "Not this time."

"Thinking about Edward?" she asked simply.

"Yeah."

She nodded, her cue to tell me to continue.

"I don't know what to think, Alice. I mean...I really do like him. He's nice, and honest. He's beautiful, he makes me smile so easliy. But I have to think about Mason."

"Why do anda always have to think about Mason? I understand he comes first in your life. Your halaman awal life. Mason shouldn't decide who atau whne anda date. anda need to give a guy a chance then bring Mason into it. Think about anda for a moment. Think about what anda want. What would make Bella happy?"

"Edward."

"Then let Edward make anda happy. I know he asked anda out to makan malam tonight because he ran it oleh me first. He's trying to open up to anda Bella. He's trying to make anda happy, so let him." she stood infront of me and placed her tiny hands on my shoulders. "I cinta you, Bella. You're practily my sister. I want anda to be happy and anda deserve to be happy. Please try? Just let Edward in."

I nodded.

"Thank you, Bella." She smiled and dropped her hands. "You'll thank me one day. Oh, and i doubt Edward told anda this, but dress nice."



"Momma?"

I was tucking Mason's kemeja into his pants. "Yeah, Baby?"

"You look pretty." He smiled.

"Thank you." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Are anda done getting me ready? I'm ready to go to Edward's. He berkata he used to play sepakbola and I want him to tampil me some stuff. Can I bring my ball?"

I stood up and helped him put on his coat. "I guess. But don't forget and leave it over there."

"Yes!" He grabbed his ball and took off for the front door.

I laughed and shook my head as I slipped my sweater on and grabbed my keys.


"Don't run!" Mason was out of the car and up to Edward's door before I could blink. "Knock!"

He curled his little fist and beat the door three times. The lock clicked and opened tampilkan Edward with a grin on his face.

"Mason!" he picked Mason up and tossed him up in the air.

Mason laughed a belly laugh I hadn't heard since he was a baby. I couldn't help but to smile.

"I brought my ball! Can anda tampil me how anda do all those tricks and stuff."

"Sounds like a plan. Where's your mom?"

"Right here." I huffed. "He ran." I laughed.

"At least anda made it." He smiled. "Come one in."

He set Mason down and let us in. His apartment was clean. Black, white, and grey clean. It didn't look much lived in. But then again, he hadn't really been "living".

"I hope anda guys like chicken nuggets and french fries." Edward looked down at Mason.

"Dinosuar shaped?!" Mason gasped.

Edward nodded. "T-rex."

"That's my favorite! Do anda have red coolaid?"

"Of course. Red is my favorit color." Edward spoke in an obvious tone.

"Mine too!" Mason smiled. "Hey, you're just like me."

Edward laughed and nodded. "I guess I am."

I could really get used to this.
