Chapter Eight:
Lexy’s P.O.V:
Rah rah ah ah ah roma rum ma ma Gaga oo la la; I want your romance…
I checked: It was my old pen pal from Asia. Her name was Zoë. A picture of her and I popped up on the screen. She was very pretty. She had that dark Asian skin and dark dark brown hair. In the picture on the screen she was wearing a light blue kemeja and her hair was cropped short.
I met Zoë when I was 9. My father always thought it was best if Ren & I talked to another person other than us and the boys. It was amazing talking to Zoë she was sweet and we had a lot in common.
“Hey Z!” I berkata as I answered the phone. “Hey, Lex.” She also had a beautiful voice. Accented, but she spoke amazing English. “So, how are you? How are things going with Chris?” Chris Tran was Zoë Pearson’s boyfriend. He was Asian/Chinese. His mother was Chinese and his father was Asian. When Chris was 5 his father died of a heatstroke. There was a heat wave in Asia and he died of little water in his system. Chris barely knew him. His mother turned to drugs after Danny (Chris’ daddy) she started drugs. She beat Chris and was taken to jail soon after. He was adopted oleh a pair of Americans; Julia and Marty. I’d met them once before whenever all six came: Julia, Marty, Chris, Zoë, Tabby and Frank (Zoë’s parents came). He was sweet and had his eyes on my sister because then they were just friends. I was about 12 then. So, Renesmee was in the ‘Jake is a hot boy’ stage. As I was in the ‘Seth side of town’ stage. It was pretty hot between the four of us when we were 12.
“Chris is good. He proposed! EEEK!” she sounded excited. “That’s amazing, Z! So when’s the wedding?!?” “Sometime in June/July/August. We haven’t exactly set a date.” She sounded like she slapped something. “Oh my god. I forgot to ask how anda are. How’s Seth?” I grinned; I couldn’t wait to tell her I was pregnant. She would freak.
“We’re fine.” I strained the word ‘We’re’. “Seth’s good too, I guess.” “That’s great L!” she hadn’t noticed yet. She didn’t say anything so I continued not making it completely obvious. “Yeah, it’s awesome. We’re just sitting on the dipan, sofa with Renesmee. I don’t know where Seth is.” Zoë was getting confused. “Who else is on the couch?” “Nobody, just me, Renesmee, and my belly.” This time she must’ve caught it. “OMIGOD, LEXY! ARE anda PREGNANT?!?” I smiled and screamed, “YES! I AM!” We laughed. I looked over at Renesmee who was bopping her head singing.
A half jam later I had hung up with my beautiful Asian pen pal, Zoë. We ended up talking all about the baby, the wedding, and when she was going to come and see me and Seth. She berkata soon. And I felt hopeful.

’Zip Your Lip like a padlock and meet me in the back with a packet of jus boxes. I don’t really care where anda live at…just turn around, boy lemme hit that. Don’t be a little b*tch with your chit…’

M- hey baby…I’m about in the door. Did Z call u? I always liked her.
L- Yeah, she did. And I’m glad…she’s coming soon!
M- That’s gr8! C u in 5. Mwah. Mommy.
L- Mwah. Baby L.:]
M- Shut ur fone off…I’m comin’ in.
L- Cool. Thanks. TTYIAS, Mommy.

“Are my bayi in here?” I slapped my fore head. My mother was beautiful. Her long brown hair was pressed up on her fore head and the tails and smaller curls let loose as they reached the end of the hair. It glinted in the sunlight. Her pale skin would remind anda of my father’s. Almost as if they were twins. Fraternal twins. She had a trophy body that was beautiful. Her chest was also pretty. And no doubt her wardrobe was drop-dead-gorgeous. Alice’s work, definitely. She was wearing jeans. Light washed and shorter than they were bought. It wasn’t as though she was dying of heatstroke but it looked lebih fashionable for a ‘19’ tahun old. They were somewhat skinny and much laid back. Definitely my mommy. She wore a light yellow tunic. Low at the neck. It hung down-enough luar angkasa for Mom’s pendant. Mom had 2 pendants. One she wore on her right ankle all the time and the other she wore whenever Alice demanded it. The Neck was white lace. The ankle was light rose color. She had little yellow mawar for her ears. They were Renesmee’s since she was the sunshine. I was lebih of the band girl, geek glasses girl, and Goth girl. It was amazing how cute I looked in berwarna merah muda, merah muda and brown though…oh no. Baby talking!
Carlos Penne was still in there and he was watching our amazingly big flat screen with me. I had the remote in hand. I had goosebumps on; the scarecrow eppie and was watching the scarecrows come alive. They were very ‘scary’ as I used to put it. Now they were just hilarious.
When mommy walked in it scared me. She was my ‘sister’ whenever human company was around. “Bella! Uh, I told anda we were done playing Momma & Kids!” She looked confused. Until I sent her a mental message:
‘Human.’
‘Oh…well my baby…I’m your sister now.’
‘Boo!’
‘Love anda though…TTYL in mommy form.’
‘Love anda too!’
“Carlos this is my older sister, Bella. We were playing a game.” He nodded and shook Mom’s hand. “Hello, I’m Carlos Penne.” “Nice…Thanks for taking care of the little trouble-makers.” He nodded and winked at her-looking for a peep so he could see her bra. Perv. “No problem. I’m not doing much-but…they’re pretty easy. Not as demanding as other clients, this is very nice.” Mom nodded and pulled back towards Ren and I. “Wear is Edward?” I looked up stairs, “Up there. We were texting earlier on and he berkata that he couldn’t wait until he showed anda this “rad”music video. He showed it to me and I find it stupid.” She rolled her eyes and hugged me and Renny. “Bye sissies! cinta you!” “Love anda too!” we berkata in unison. She laughed and proceeded going upstairs.
