“Bella, anda don’t know what it’s like to see anda best friend and then with a stupid decision your brother makes, lose her for as long as your brother can keep away.” oleh the end Alice, sounded lebih like she was talking lebih to herself than to me.

And she was right. I didn’t know what it was like, because I wasn’t Alice. But in a way I did know what it was like, because when HE had left; I had to lose Alice just like she had lost me. But vampire could forget if they wanted to. Alice could have forgotten me, lebih easily than I could have forgotten her if she wanted to.

“Wants anda back.” Was the last thing I heard her say before everything went black.



“Calm down Charlie, she only passed out. She’ll be coming around soon enough.”

“Carlisle?” I asked confused. I was pretty sure that was Carlisle voice I heard.

“Yes Bella, It’s me. Lay down, anda hurt your head quite bad.” His cold hands pushed me down and wiped across my forehead, relieving my pain.

What was he doing back in Forks they didn’t live here anymore? I was in so much pain and so confused and even worse, I was in hospital. Alice was sat selanjutnya to Charlie and Jacob was on the other side of me.

“What...what happened?” I asked. Carlisle came back with some ice for my head.

“You pasted out Bells. Do anda have any idea why? Alice and Jacob berkata they came to find anda and anda were on the floor.” Charlie berkata casting accusing glances at Alice and Jacob.

“I hit my head earlier on, when I fell down the stairs.” I berkata closing my eyes and hoping he wouldn’t see through me.

“It sounds enough like you.” Charlie agreed.

“Charlie, Jacob anda need to leave for a moment while I take some scans and a blood test from Bella. Alice I need anda to stay, I need some help.” Carlisle berkata standing now at the foot of my bed.

Charlie and Jacob got up walking out the door, while Alice moved closer to me.

“We’ll protect you” Alice promised, taking my hand."She wont get near anda again."
