I stretched out my long, marble arms, and ran a hand through my honey-coloured hair. Keeping up the act of a human is having effects on me. I don't need to do that stuff, but it comes as habit. The mood of the house was tense, and I was really feeling the strain. Even with my beautiful little Alice sitting oleh my side, squeezing my hand gently, I wasn't feeling much calmer; the weight of the mood was too strong. I sank back into the sofa, and listened as Edward and Bella arrived at the door.
"Hey, anda two," Edward berkata as he barged through the door. He tried to keep his tone and face expressionless, but i could see right through him. I could feel his anxiety, remember?
"Hey yourselves. So, what are we going to do then? I'm sick of this situation making my Jasper feel bad. It's not right," Alice almost shouted to our siblings. It was obvious that my mood was really affecting her, as she never shouts. Ever.
"Honey, calm down. I'm okay, don't worry," I looked over to Edward, "She has a point though. What are we going to do? I can tell something else has happened."
Bella suddenly stepped out from her position, grabbing one of Edwards hands and standing in front of him.
"Jazz, Alice, relax. Everything is okay. It's just that we've heard from the pack-mind that Tauri's scent is stronger now. She is obviously in contact with her vampire at this moment in time. Nothing too bad has happened, but the scent was caught along the trail of the treaty line, and then out into the sea. The smell really is strong; that of a newborn. And there have been two bodies found close to each other in the woods. It's nothing to worry about, but Edward and I are going to investigate further. We're crossing onto Quiluete land in a minute."
This is what decided it for me. Our family hardly ever set foot in La Push, unless there was an emergency. In cases like that, we stuck together. We do stick together. However, the anxiousness everyone is carrying around at the moment is withering away my sanity; a huge weight on my shoulder. I must do whatever I can to stop this; I'm the one who knows how to fight...
