series twilight Pertanyaan

Did anyone notice that Edward is different in the film than in the book?

In the book he is lebih relaxed and he laughs and smiles a lot but in the film he seems edgy and he never laughs!!! Tell me if i'm being rediculous!!!;)

Yes I did notice. In the movie, he's lebih on edge. He's lebih wary and cautious. And in the book, he's lebih laid back. His emotions aren't as "drastic" in the book. But anda have to understand that the movie is adapted from the novel.

Twilight is 500+ pages. And 500 pages to a 109 page screenplay (script), that's hard to capture the emotion of the characters. The book is lebih gradual, yes. But Edward's character in the movie had to tampil why he is like that way in the book. The movie included alot of intense scenes. Every scene was heavy, where as, in the book, it's lebih gradual and building. So, I don't blame Rob atau Catherine for that. That's how it works when adapting a novel to movie.

If Stephenie Meyer wrote Twilight in 300+ pages, I'm sure Edward's character would be like that as well. But slightly contradicting what I berkata before, they are the same. But squeezing 500 pages into a movie, and trying to get all the details in, the characters are going to be lebih dynamic and have lebih of an impact than in the book. lol

ps. sorry if I didn't explain too well. This is one of those things where anda know what the answer is in your head, but anda can't explain it in words. lol

Rob berkata that during the set of Twilight Stephanie Meyer gave him Midnight Sun to read it and he understood that Edward is much lebih dangerous and he had to look lebih scary in the movie to tampil who was really Edward. Maybe that's why he didn't smile that much although I can say he actually did smile many times :)

i dont really think that he is that different from the book to the movie. i think maybe he seems a little different b/c they left out soooo many scenes from the book outta the movie which i really wish that they didnt b/c they left out some important stuff...buh i think there is maybe a small difference buh otherwise i think he is all the same. that's mai opnion anyways....

I don't know how anda could not notice that. In the movie he is really tense all the time, but in the book he seems lebih human.

Well maybe its because the movie is short ... hardly anytime 2 tampil the variety of emotions edward ACTUALLY goes through... the time he laughs and smiles is where they have the whole pertanyaan and answer thing which is not really shown properly in the movie cause of the time limit... Which cant really be helped to a certain extent. So yea, there is a difference between edward in twilight the book and twilight the movie
