Do anda Think Edward Would Ever Spank Renesmee?

Note that I'm not asking if anda agree with the idea of spanking, but do anda think Edward would? I mean my immediate first response would be to say no he wouldn't, but Edward and all the Cullen's with the exclusion of Bella were brought up in times were corporal punishment was completely exceptable and commonly used. How anda were brought up can have a big effect on how anda raise your children. I mean the Cullen's have kept a lot of the morals and beliefs from when they were growing up, do anda think that Edward would keep the same beliefs on this particular subject?

Actually, he would never spank his child.He is a good dad and I dont think that Renesmee will do anything which will make Edward spank her...

It doesn't have anythiing to do with whether atau not he is a good father. It's just askingg if anda think he would because of the times and beliefs he was brought up in. Just because somebody spanks there child doesn't make them a bad parent.

I think it would make sense because of all the cullen's backgrounds and what-not and You've got a point about holding on to morals and beliefs. But why is everyone assuming Renesmee will always be this perfect child? I mean growing up as a half vampire has got to be pretty hard and as she grows up she might hit rebellious stages. I mean she maentally matures faster than she does physically, so what if she hit her rebellious, bratty, teenage mentality when she looks like 7? I mean no child could be good ALL the time! And a half-vampire just seems like they would find different ways to act out than your narmal child.

Also, since Bella would have grown up in a time when a lot of people connect all corporal punishment with child abuse, she might refuse to let anyone spank her daughter.
