Damon was sitting on his knees, in his cell, his hands chained above his head. Bonnie sat behind him and stroke with her middle finger over his naked back. It was pitch dark, but somehow she managed to see everything she needed to.
There was a small jar of a colorless liquid selanjutnya to her. She dipped her index finger in it and pulled it out again. She waited five unbearable detik wherein she could hear Damon’s hectic breathing. She placed her finger on his shoulder blade and starting from there she formed letters. Though Damon only groaned, she saw him grasping the chains and pull his back, which made it difficult for her to write.
“What…what are you…doing?” he berkata weak.
“Ssh” Bonnie hissed. “Don’t talk and sit still. I need to concentrate” Ignoring Damon clenching his teeth she continued her inscription, while blood streamed over his back like minuscule creeks. She purposely wrote immense slow to let him suffer even lebih and she wasn’t finished until she reached the bottom of his back.
“The pain’s going away, anda know” Damon berkata with a whiff of his old sarcasm. “Eventually” He felt how Bonnie placed her hands on his burning shoulders and gasped. She bowed to his ear and whispered: “Not if I’m around to make sure anda keep feeling it” She stood up and walked around Damon until she was standing in front of him. She bent down on her knees to be on eyesight with Damon and looked him in the eyes. Damon looked away, but was forced to look back at Bonnie. “Damon, I forbid anda to tampil anyone what’s on your back” she berkata soft, but sharp. “Do anda understand?”
Damon nodded.
“Now anda need to be patient. Tonight anda can hunt. But no humans” Bonnie said. “You know what happens when anda harm people, then I would have to punish anda and I don’t want to do that”
She walked passed him and walked out of the cell, leaving the door open. There was no need bothering closing it; the key of Damon’s prison involved something much less earthly than a door.

They heard the door close and wondered who came barging in, until a familiar, female and British voice solved the mystery.
“Anyone home?” Rebekah called from downstairs.
“Ugh” Damon sighed. “I’ll go” He stood up and walked to the door, but when he wanted to open it, the door was slammed in his face and Rebekah barged in. She held a guy in her right hand and a blood bag in her left hand.
“What are anda doing here?” Elena asked tired.
“I came to apologize” Rebekah explained flighty, while she tossed the bag to Damon. “I was wrong to bite you. It’s just that I busted Stefan smooching with that vamp strumpet and anda look like her, so I got carried away. I don’t understand what it is that draws Stefan to women with your appearances. You’re not even that pretty”
“I appreciate your honesty” Elena komentar sarcastically.
“Hey, I’m as open as your legs were last night” Rebekah replied blunt and Elena’s cheeks turned red.

In her panic she forgot she had been living here for about twenty years and the matches lay in the detik drawer selanjutnya to the cupboard underneath the sink ever since. She pulled it open and grabbed the matches. Then she opened the fridge and took out a bottle of Malt Whisky. She ran back downstairs to the body.
