i hate John but he is defenitly if her dad. otherwise why else would Elena's Adopted dad be the doctor that delivered her, and also just happened to be Johns brother.

I really don't think either Alaric or John are Elena's father, especially not Alaric. I think it will be a character we least expect because this show is about surprising us, and both these characters wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Erm guys...i'm kinda confused. Why would John be Elena's dad? I know its definetaly not going to be Alaric, but why John? Can someone please explain it to me in detail, please. Thanks!!!
