We know that Caroline Dries said that we'll see at least 3 PERMANENT deaths. So if it is permanent they can't be the main characters.

What do you think?

But it would be shocking if actually he dies PERMANENT. We always freak out for no reason. Let's freak out for real this time! But noone will handle it. Julie Plec will spend her most awful summer. The fans will threaten her via twitter if she goes with that story. Personally i think it would be an Epic death and it will cause drama with DE and Stefan and everyone but honestly i don't think Julie can do this.
