i mean the plan was always about killing klaus that's it,they didn't have any reason for wantting to kill the others (rebekah,finn,elijah,kol) but out of nowhere they killed finn the only 1 from the original family who haven't done any harm to them,and all of ssudden they wanted to know which bloodline they come from so they wouldn't kill their blood line but when did this happen their plan was always about killing klaus that's it
