Our clip, from the first part of the two-hour event, features the former foes’ initial meeting over shots. “Stefan Salvatore in the Crescent City,” Klaus sighs. “This ought to be very good — or entertainingly bad.” (Here’s hoping it’s both!)

There’s no mention of their mutual love interest in this first minute-and-a-half, but based on executive producer Caroline Dries’ recent tweet, I’m thinking it won’t be long before “Klaroline” fans are treated to a special moment or two.

I’m confused, because, from the last episode, it seemed like the TVD characters were heading to New Orleans in the flash forward timeline. Are they also headed there in the present day? Otherwise, I’m not sure how the crossover will work (unless Originals also does a time jump or reveals that it’s been set three years in the future all along)

Based on that clip, it seems like Stefan will be heading there in the present day timeline.

I’m still really curious to see what they tease about New Orleans of the future in the flash forward scenes. Has the prophecy come to pass? Are any of the Mikaelsons still standing?

Stephen is there in present day , but Caroline will come to Klaus after Stephen has been captured ..

But it’s not mutual love interest anymore? Like, KC ended years and seasons ago and it didn’t even start, it was a one-time thing. Stefan and Caroline are in love, same for Klaus and Camille, so I don’t understand why people keep trying to ignore canon.

Sterocest relationship is dead in the ff, which should’ve happened a looonng time ago. Klaus to Caroline: “I intend to be your last, however long it takes” As long as KC are endgame, that’s all that matters!!

No one is ignoring canon they are simply excited to see them interact even if it’s over the phone. Why are Klamille and Steroline shippers so damn pressed over a phonecall. What are you worried about

Why are people getting so excited about Klaroline? You do realize it’s only a phone call, right? They’re not coming face to face and they’re probably only going to talk about the fact that they’re both in relationships.

God shippers are soooo annoying!!!Kloaroline isntgonna happen people-They live in different cities,both are different people then when they Hooke up in the woods,both have kids with someone else and are in love /in relationships with other people(Klaus withCamiCaro with Stefan now I the presentation engage to someone not Klaus in the future).Plus,their whole “romance” was a quickie in the woods,a one night stand.If anything else happens,it’ll be like that again.Is that what Kloroliners want for ship?

I just want Klaroline BUT I love The Originals (only The Originals ;) ) its a great show!

And yet in the future Stefan is happy with Valarie and Caroline is with Alaric raising their daughters.

Still don’t care about any “ship”, just looking forward to seeing Stefan and Klaus together. They always had such great scenes together.

Klaroline it is bloody over FGS!!!! If writers wanted Caroline on TO they would have made it happen.. It’s a different show/ DIFFERENT WRITERS and CA is a lead on TVD it won’t happen plus they have new fanbases for each show cannon ships, what make some ppl think we do not matter?It ‘s just getting so unpleasant all this hostility and obsession about a couple that had nothing but sex, compare to the rest, the hateful posts everywhere to everyone on the media is sickening just get over it already, no wonder even the actors dislike them..

In fact the actors don’t hate them. CA and JM are very vocal about how they enjoy Klaroline scenes. # sorrynotsorry # youtried

Just was over on Twitter since TVD airs over in Canada on Thursdays. Lots of Klaroline, so I heard, our ship is once again sailing!

Klaus doesn’t give his blessing to Stefan, doesn’t talk about Cami, and does not deny that he still has feelings for Caroline, just says he has a lot of complicated women in his life right now. And oh my goodness, that Bamon scene, so heartfelt! Yay for Klaroline!!

Yawn. Now I remember why I gave up on the Originals. I hope nothing important to VD occurs.
