The Princess and the Frog Did anyone besides me think it was strange Tiana was the princess in The Princess and the Frog, but she wasn't a princess until the last five menit of the movie?

Not really. Cinderella wasn't a princess until the last TWO minutes, after she married the prince.

Yeah, no surprise here. Tiana wasn't the first one. I used to be confused when I first heard about the movie being called The Princess and the Frog and that the setting was going to be in New Orleans. I was all "Huh? We don't have a monarchy here. And how will she be a princess?" Probably like everyone else. Of course it gets explained so I'm cool.
