Only about as many times as i've seen the movie.

I must confess I had to buy a second copy, this is bad to admit for a grown woman to admit. It was my first book that I really loved it was also the book that got me into Robert Frost poetry.

We had to read it in school when I was in 7th grade, and I read it for fun many years later

sadley, i havent read it more than once. i read it in grade 7 but we had to give them back, and i just havent bought it or visited a library

I have two copies. I thought I lost the first one. So I went and got another copy. And a couple months later the first copy shows up. LOL.

I'm not big on rereading books (except for like, Harry Potter), but I plan on rereading The Outsiders very soon. I've seen the movie twice, though. (And I cried both times!)

My whole class read it this year. I missed a day of reading and had to take the book hoome over the weekened. So lets see. Once in class, 4 times on that Saturday, 3 times on that Sunday, and I sat in Barnes and Noble twice and read it because my mom wouldn't buy it for me! I've read the book 10 times!!!!!

I read for fun all the time but I memorize the characters and play a little movie in my head :)

We had to read this book in school. I read it in the first three days of having it and read it five times within a month! I'm copying the book word for word down on paper and I practically have the whole thing memorized. Yeah, you can say I'm obsessed.
