Why do anda think Link doesn't talk?

There may be many reasons to why he doesn't talk, much like what CrystalSheik said.

What I believe is the reason is that if they chose a voice actor for him, it may cause some people to think that it's bad and some people may think that it's good. Maybe they want to avoid conflict between fan and create an image within everyone's mind: doing this can make anda see the whole game in a different way. Miyamoto probably wants us to use our imaginations as much as they did so we can visualize what they were trying to tampil us.

I think he doesnt talk so the creators wouldnt have to worry about voice acotors for him atau any of the other characters, sometimes when ppl dont like the voice of a character tHey lose interest.

link didnt go to school and is mute with something permanently lodged in his voicebox

ive readed all zelda buku one of them is about his childhood and he was kidnaped and on the way he was droped and hit in the head thats why he wont talk

I'm glad Link doesn't talk...but this is in a good way. Because he doesnt have a annoying personality like for example, naruto >.<. And anda really can't hate Link...it's freakin' impossible :)

It's all about using your imagination. oleh leaving the voice out, anda can sort create your own link (note the name option). Link as a character is a very well meaning person. But with the extras like side quests, anda can in a way make your own link. If link was diberikan a task and he berkata "I will do it right away", anda wouldn't go, "I'll do it, but first i'll fight with the cucoos". It would lose character and wouldn't make much sence.

Cause one time in a computer game they talked and it was the creepyest thing ever! It was a game nitendo just sotta sweep under the rug.

He does talk, as indicated oleh other characters, but his words aren't shown in the game. Though in OoT, when he's rolling, it sounds like he's saying 'pickle!', 'trout!', and 'scythe!' lol :D

anda dont see link talk because he is supposed to have the player's personality,why do anda think they give anda membagi, split choice? then its settled,link can't talk because it must be the player thinking what he wil say on membagi, split choice,besides he will talk rarely like "What is this man babbling about?" with the anouki cheif in phantom hourglass.

Actually, Link does talk. If Link doesn't talk, then how come we get dialogue choices in the games? It only seems like for immersion purposes. If Link doesn't talk, how come he does in other media? Link does talk but it only seems like he doesn't.

Miyamoto actually berkata in an interview that when they were about to record link's voice actor,that voice actor was shot the same hari as the recording,so they actually had his voice on tape so they used his shrieks for link.

the answer to this is very simple the reason why Link doesnt speak is because Link is supposed to be anda that is the point of the game anda are link thats why anda can change his name, the way he acts and what anda do as him the whole point is that anda are in link shoes thats the purpose of his name hes the Link to anda and the game its the thrill of adventure of anda being the hero to fight a villian and save the princess known as Zelda Link is just a default name for him anda can change his name to anything cuz thats the point if anda like anda can play Link as Link but anda can also play Link as anda that is the whole purpose why Link cannot speak.
