Yes personally, I find it happened too quick as well? I mean one detik he was there, then he was being torn apart and then they were running away, in something like one paragraph! I don't think she thought that through, seeing as a lot of readers get quite attatched to him.

His death was very sad, especially since he had just recently married Annie.
He was one of my very favorit characters, and I think it's terrible that he had to die. :(
But, oh well...

yes, i wanted to cry! Finnick is such a likeable character... it is still so hard for me to belive he is dead. Personally I think suzanne collins made a mistake in killing of Finnick because alot of people like him. I wish he would have ended up alive.

I think he deserved a lebih dramatic and well thought out death. The one he got was to dissmisive, like "Oh i'm going to kill him off, might as well do it with the mutts" It happened to fast, I had to read it over becuase I was like "Where's Finnick?" I didn't want him to die in the first place, but if he had to die, it could have been better, like he could've died saving Katniss atau something like that.

I couldn't agree with anda more. I felt it was rushed and should have been, like anda said, lebih dramatic. They got over it quick too.

Except it doesn't work out like that in real life. anda don't get to decide who dies and how they die. Collins was trying to make people understand that deaths in war are never fair, and they're always pointless.

Not me, because I think the point was to tampil the brutality of war. People die, and it is not pretty. Like many of you, I loved Finnick, and did not want him to die. However, I think that if he had lived just because we loved him, it wouldnt have been true to the story. It also made it much lebih powerful than if the writer had just killed off characters that we dont care about, atau characters that we actually want to see die.
