Exactly what I was going to say =)

The more time it takes, the more excited you get, the more fans here about it, the more books are sold, the more popular it gets. If all the books came out tomorrow I would be pretty bumbled out. That's like saying that you want to have the best day ever instead of the best years ever.

That's true. My waiting is definitely better than it was after I finished reading the Lost Hero. I couldn't stand not having it. But, I guess I don't want it to come out really bad and not be Rick's best work. I'll wait. It's just that cliffhangers can be really frustruating!

I'm not a fan of waiting, but I agree LeoV44. It would be nice for it to be out by now, but it makes the book better when you finaly have it in your hands after a long 12 months' wait.
