the beatles The Abridged White Album Game

When the Beatles were recording the White Album, they had planned to make it a double album, which it was. However, George Martin, their studio producer, wanted them to release a single album and refine some of the less-than-perfect songs.
I like to think about what songs I would've chosen to keep and which I would've axed, so let's all play a little game: pick songs to add up to the length of a regular album - about forty to sixty minutes (that's roughly twelve to fifteen songs). Here's the track listing for the White Album: Back in the U. S. S. R. (2:43) Dear Prudence (3:56) Glass Onion (2:17) Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (3:08) Wild Honey Pie (0:52) The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill (3:14) While My Guitar Gently Weeps (4:45) Happiness Is A Warm Gun (2:43) Martha My Dear (2:28) I'm So Tired (2:03) Blackbird (2:18) Piggies (2:04) Rocky Raccoon (3:32) Don't Pass Me By (3:50) Why Don't We Do It In the Road? (1:41) I Will (1:46) Julia (2:54) Birthday (2:42) Yer Blues (4:01) Mother Nature's Son (2:48) Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey (2:24) Sexy Sadie (3:15) Helter Skelter (4:29) Long, Long, Long (3:04) Revolution 1 (4:15) Savoy Truffle (2:54) Cry Baby Cry (3:01) Revolution 9 (8:22) Good Night (3:11) - These songs were included on Anthology 3 and were also considered for placement in the White Album. Feel free to pick any of these for your ideal White Album: A Beginning (0:50) Junk (2:25) Not Guilty (3:22) What's The New Mary Jane (6:12) Mean Mr. Mustard (1:58) Polythene Pam (1:26) So pick somewhere between twelve to sixteen of the above songs (or about forty to sixty minutes if you feeling like adding and calculating the times) to make the best White Album possible. Also, you can put them in any order you want. Have fun!
