she commanded the screen with her stellar performance that when i left the theater after this film, i predicted she'd get nominated. i'm pretty sure cate will win too...generally speaking younger actresses of ellen page's age usually don't win (haley joel osment of sixth sense fame anyone?) so yea i'm going with miss blanchett. =)

as much I love Ellen Page and her role in Juno, I honestly think Marion Cotillard did a amazing job playing Edith Piaf! I hope the academy recognizes how amazing a acting job she did do. Hello the woman shaved her eyebrows off and her hairline back to play Edith.
