baltazar don't need cass to kill raphael (back to the 3th episode)...and the sadness of cass in the end of the epic episode and the happiness of balty...ohhhh i'm feel so sad....

Although I agree that I don't think Balthazar did it for free, I don't think the price was Castiel's soul. I'm not sure that angels have souls like humans do. They seem to be built differently and when they speak of souls it's always in reference to human souls. I suppose it's a possibility but...I just don't think so.

no spoiler on it, it's just a "personnal" feeling that i had in the end of the episode..why baltazar gave this weapon to cass..he can kill raphael by him self, he had the weapon...why?????...i'm gonna cry...i don't want to see cass in this situation...good for dean and sam that...lol

I don't believe angels have souls, I don't even think they can get one unless they decide to turn human. I'm pretty sure if there was a price is was probably immunity since Balty did rebel against heaven and steal all they're weapons.

that's a good question, soul angel...they exist, they live (in some kind of way), they die so they must have a soul, i think..
i love the actor who play baltazar but for me this character is a deceidful...

I seem to remember Castiel (or some other angel, it could have been Anna) telling Dean that angels don't have souls, they have their grace, which isn't exactly like a soul. Humans are the only creatures God created with souls, which is what makes them so utterly unique (at least I think that is what they said, but don't hold me to that lol). Regardless, I don't think Castiel sold his grace to get the weapons back, and as big of a jerk (though I love him) that Balthazar is, I don't think that he would make Cas give that to him since they were good friends, or at least that is what Cas said in The Third Man. Also at this point in time giving Castiel the weapons was Balthazar's best bet since Raphael had sent all these angelic hit men after him so getting the weapons in the right hands (Castiel's) would be the most logical conclusion that would benefit both parties equally (Castiel/Balthazar would live, a big plus for both parties). Or at least it makes sense to me.

i admit that i prefer your version to mine...Lol...i hope that you're right...but spn is a show so special that maybe we'll be surprise by the end...but i still believe that baltazar is not very clear (but i like the actor so i hope that i'm wrong there too...lol)...
