/Shadow/Dark side of the moon! This is a hard choice! all of the episode 16s are really excellent (except for roadkill - which was just okay) >_<

There are some excellent choices here. [Except Roadkill- that one was blah]. But Dark Side of the Moon blew me away. Definitely right up there with On the Head of a Pin and No Rest for the Wicked.

I really liked On the Head of a Pin but Dark Side of the Moon. Loved it!! So emotional, so shocking!! Plus Ash! Double Win :D

God this was hard >< But this episode was just so big. I had to choose it :D (*cough*ThatsWhatSheSaid*cough*)

I have to agree this was hard but I can name my TOP3
1. Dark Side of the moon
2. On the head of a pin
3. No rest for the wicked

haaaaaaard,"shadows" is my absolutely favourite from season one,"no rest of the wicked" is amazing,and "dark side of the moon" it's alredy one of my fav too,but "on the head of a pin" it's propably my fav episodes ever tied with WIAWSNB!

On The Head Of A Pin was freakin good too

because thats kind of the only episode that made me cry .. ever :D

WANTED DEAD OR ALIIIIIIIIIVE

"No Rest" I thought could have been done a bit better, as something just felt, weak, about it towards the end. DSOTM was all kinds of awesome and very nearly beat out my pick, but I wanted to see so much more. I just watch "On the Head of a Pin" today, and was reminded just what a great episode this was. Dean confronting his past, Castiel struggling to find his place, Sam slipping further down his dark road, and Uriel's turn. Really amazing episode, especially seeing Dean's face at the end when he realized that he broke the first seal.

I loved "Dark side of the Moon" but in my opinion, "On the head of a Pin" was the best.

I have always loved "Shadow".
