"Will supernatural Ever Get Respect?" 

I'll tell you something- I don't watch Buffy or any of those horror or drama shows they mention, and I hated the new BG. SPN is the only show I watch today, and one of only four shows so far from the 2000's that I watch, the other three being Dark Angel, Reba, and Dinotopia. And it's the only horror series I've seen besides Dark Shadows and the only good fantasy show since So Weird or the Lost World. So maybe I'm not the best judge. But it's as good as the older series from the sixties and seventies (the golden age of TV, IMO), and for that it deserves respect!!!
