I first found stevie nicks and Fleetwood mac in 1982 when my girlfriends older sister let me borrow rumors album (you people remember lps) and I simply fell in love with her voice and her simple beauty.

I became a Stevie Nicks fan instantly when I saw her and Fleetwood Mac perform on the Midnight Special in 1976 singing the iconic "Rhiannon." I'm still a fan 40 years later. I even stood in heavy rain for two hours just to get tickets to the Tusk concert in 1980. My "Rumours" t-shirt SHRUNK ON MY BACK!!!

First time I saw Stevie I was 14 outside concert she was who I wanted to be, instead she became my beat friend, mentor, teacher and life saver. I was addicted to heroin and life then klonapins but Stevie got me through i was Beaten by a spouse but those songs hot me through it I was hurricane Katrina there was Stevie! Now I am 57, Diagnosed with Liver Cancer I have no family and friends have slowly left my life, but I ha e God and Stevie, I've accepted that through my sickness I'll be alone I lost everything in Katrina that I saved from year to year of Stevie I would just line to ask one thing Stevie if you read this do you think you could send me an autographed picture I can keep with me during my hospital stays and till I fly away from this world I thank you for all the love youve giving me all the strength stay gold ms. nicks keep soldering on for the generations to come May God continue to bless you for being a selfless beautiful person i am proud and honored to call you my Sista!
