"Help us!" a voice echoed in Jedi Master Tera Sinube's sub-conscious as he slept. The elderly Cosian Master tossed and turned recognizing the presence of the voice's source. He sat up stifling the scream he nearly let out.
"S'alebac..." he muttered and got up to dress in his Jedi robes.
The elderly Master made his way to Master Yoda's private quarters hating to wake the much older Jedi.
"Master Sinube," Yoda berkata letting Sinube inside his sparce quarters, "At this hour, what brings you?"
"Master Yoda, I have felt a disturbance in the Force from a planet I visited in my youth," Sinube answered, "The planet is S'alebac."
"Hmm," Yoda muttered, "S'alebac, a world not familiar to me."
"It is in the far Outer Rim away from the war. They are a peaceful people who have had very little contact with other worlds. In fact, they have only encountered Cosians like myself atau my old Master.
"Tera," Yoda berkata placing a hand on his friend's shoulder, "What disturbance do anda fll?"
Master Sinube swallowed hard and felt tears well up in his eyes.
"Fear, Master Yoda, sorrow, anguish, grief, anger and most of all a plea for help. The S'alebacian people possess no vocal cords and communicate oleh telepathy atau sign language. They have a weak Force sense."
"Convene an emergency meeting of the Jedi Council I will," Yoda said.
Awhile later Masters Yoda, Mace Windu, Plo Koon, Ki-Adi-Mundi and Luminara Unduli sat listening to Master Sinube's story.
"We must send help," Master Plo said, "This could be the work of General Grievous."
"Grevieous' work this is," Yoda answered.
"Who do we send?" Luminara asked, "Most of our Masters are on the front lines. My Padawan Barriss Offee is aiding Master Obi-Wan and Commander Cody on Salecumi."
"Why not send young Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka?" Master Windu suggested, "They are halaman awal resting from a heavy battle at Kothis."
Yoda shut his eyes in concentration.
"Hmmm, yes," Yoda finally answered, "Anakin and Ahsoka will go....and anda Master Sinube will lead."
"Me?" Sinube asked his golden eyes widening. "I haven't fought on the front lines since the Hyperspace Wars."
"Your expertise the young ones will need," yoda answered, "Have interacted with the S'alebacian people have anda not?"
"Well yes..."
"Then anda will lead. Contact the young ones anda will as soon as possible."
"Master Yoda? Why choose Anakin and Ahsoka? They are just....children. Why not send someone older and lebih experienced like Master Luminara atau Master Plo?"
"Tera," Mace Windu berkata giving the Cosian one of his no-nonsense stares, "Anakin Skywalker may be young, but he is one of our most experienced generals on the front lines as well as Padawan Tano. The boy is a natural leader and his Force abilities are extraordinary. His clone commander Captain Rex and the 501st have endured many battles. The boy and his Padawan will lead the mission with you."
