The Things that tick people off
(Note this is not a like/dislike list)
So everyone recently has been saying stuff like
“Don’t steal my ideas!”
And
“I did this first! It’s annoying when people copy!”
While these topics are few, I feel they should get resolved.
So here’s me discussing the whole copying thing that’s been going around.
Firstly, what is copying/stealing on this club?
Apparently its if someone gets the idea “Your character wakes up to find a pie on their head.” And everyone likes it, so some people make things like “Your character wakes up to find someone doing something random.” atau just completely copying the first.
Now what is wrong with that? Let’s see.
It’s unoriginal in a way, yes, but aside from it being that (and some of these are actually really good) it’s actually not wrong. Unless the person who made the first rp created roleplays, atau random, atau pies, they don’t really have a say in if it’s good atau not.
Now what WOULD be stealing?
If a character made an rp saying “Your character wakes up and is surrounded oleh *----------*”
Then someone else takes those items that the original person created, and uses those in their rp, it would be stealing.
People are saying “Hey, I came up with this idea first. anda have to give credit.” But why? Tons of people have created the same idea before you. The only thing the person who made the original idea did, was refresh the idea for that time.
And really, what is so bad about people getting similar ideas, as long as they don’t ACTUALLY steal your stuff that anda creatd?
I mean, people take the ideas I come up with all the time (Like the Chemical cinta Rp and such), and I’m not upset. If anything, I’m flattered. Why? Because when they use the idea anda came up with, it means they really liked it, and that they wanted to do something that was just as cool as anda did.
So unless they steal your Zatalations, atau your X-emeralds, atau your Team Strikers, they really do have all the same rights to your stories as anda do. Even if it isn’t that original, it can help them get their own ideas.
Who knows? Some hari (intentionally atau not) anda could end up copying someone’s like/dislike artikel idea, atau their diary rp, atau even their picture theme idea. Only the future can tell.
