Jeffrey Katzenberg is pretty confident that we\'ll see a fifth Shrek movie sometime in the future. For now, the franchise is taking a rest, but rest assured, everyone\'s favorite Ogre and his friends will return.

, it was announced that Merlin Entertainments has teamed up with DreamWorks Animation to create the Shrek themed attraction \'Far Far Away Adventure\' in London, with future versions to appear throughout the world over the course of the next few years. Jeffrey Katzenberg recently conducted an interview about this huge endeavor with Fox Business Network, where he revealed that Shrek isn\'t dead, but merely taking an extended siesta,

"We like to let them have a little bit of time to rest, but I think you can be confident that we\'ll have another chapter in the Shrek series. We\'re not finished, and more importantly, neither is he."

Shrek became a global phenomenon in 2001, and was followed by three sequels, Shrek 2 in 2004, Shrek the Third in 2007 and Shrek Forever After in 2010. There was also the 2011 spin-off Puss in Boots, a Broadway show and a handful of TV specials. It isn\'t quite clear when Shrek will be back on the big screen, but with a franchise gross of over $3 billion, it probably won\'t be long.

Shrek\'s \'Far Far Away Adventure\' will open in London summer 2015, with six more attractions to open over the course of the next nine years. That serves as reason enough to keep the series going well into the next decade,
