Guys, something is wrong and I'm hoping one of anda might know what.

Okay, so I kinda had sex on my period and got a UTI. Only it's not going away. I told my mom that last wednesday and she says "Well then it might not be a UTI, you've got an STD."
Okay, well, (graphic) it hurts at the end of when I pee. Which, from what I understand, points lebih towards UTI than STD. And here's why i highly doubt its an STD: I've been with this guy for 5 months. Sexually that is. He was tested between me and the last girl he received oral sex from (I took his virginity. I think if we had something, it would've manifested in one of us but NOTHING IS OFF with either of us.
I don't know, does anyone have any ides, advice, atau anything?

Ask your gynecologist. She's lebih knowledgeable than your mom and the Internet combined.

anda made an appointment, and the earliest they had was in two months? Must be a populer doctor. I made an appointment just for a check-up (nothing bad atau painful going on) and they were able to give me an appointment in about two weeks. Is this the gynecologist anda see regularly? If not, I'd look for one that's maybe a bit lebih available.

To me, it just sounds like a UTI. I would go to the doctor to know for sure of course. Most major UTI's don't go away on their own, anda need antibiotics to clear it up.

It'll be better to go see a professional instead of asking people here. A doctor could tell anda what's wrong better. :o

It may just be a bad UTI/BI. If it's severe enough, it may take lebih than one dosage of antibiotics to clear up.

Also, it is entirely possible to have and STD and not know it. link symptoms are often confused with a BI/UTI. And chlamydia sometimes doesn't have symptoms at all (sourced above as well). lebih STDs are also listed in the above source, some of which have symptoms that come and go, and some that can have no symptoms at all. And most of those symptoms are easily confused with something else: muscle aches, fever, spotty periods, burning when urinating, heavy menstrual flow, abdominal pain, coughing, yeast infections.

Always, always, always get tested for STDs/STIs when you're having sexual intercourse. No matter how much anda trust your partner, no matter how small the symptoms -- if any at all.

Well, then that's probably why you're still having problems.
