I'm not going to lie.
I would LOVE doing drugs.
And would probably do 'em all of the time.
And get drunk off of my ass and run around on e.
But, I couldn't, because it's illegal and these days,
with school/work it's so hard to hide.

Hey, I somewhat agree. Drugs do mess with people; but I totally respect people's decisions to do them. Same for if they want to cut themselves, burn, or any other method of self-mutilation. Fuck, a lot of the time, if someone does GENUINELY want to kill themselves, then I wouldn't be the one to stop 'em for the reason that it is THEIR lives. If that is what they want, and they do KNOW the affect beforehand and still wanna do drugs and shit, then I think it should be their choice. I think it should be a moral decision rather than decided by law. However, I think that drugs should be kept to certain extents, and at the same time should be unlimited. Like, heroine doers, I don't understand why they'd choose such a terrible thing to mess with, but I know people who have and still do. In fact; MDMA is an AMAZING drug for druggies. I don't think I could bring myself to go behind the law's back and do drugs, in fact, I never will because of so many promises that I've made (not to say I haven't had the opportunity; I've denied plenty of times) to people I really love.. I could never do that to my family, and never will. However; I think there's very little wrong with drugs. I know a lot of people who've grown up doing them and never regretted it once.

Though, the majority does regret it, so I think that there should be limitation to what's consumed of these drugs, but, then again like I said, it's THEIR lives, not the governments, so why does the law choose to rule them? I don't know. Not to say I find it ridiculous, but I think the jail term is AWFUL, and stupid.

Yet another reason I'd NEVER touch ANY drug is because of the fact that you'd go to jail. I'm fucking terrified of any form of prison, and I want to have a good life. I wanna go to college, get involved in politics, (reestablishment of capitalism, ftw!) and do some working for the National Guard, (what I might go to school for when I'm older) or US Marshall and retire to being some sort of forensic scientist. :3 If I do drugs, I could never do any of that, because not only would my brain be so fried, but I don't have the talent to get away with it. XD

Basically; no matter what, even if all of my family was dead, I had no possibility of job, and it was legal, I still wouldn't do drugs.

Alcohol IS a drug. Just because it's legal, doesn't mean it's not a drug. They are tons of drugs that are legal and do a lot of good. Millions of alive people would be dead right now if it wasn't for legal, prescribed drugs. I'm not for illegal drugs, but you didn't say just illegal drugs in the question.

I mean, how many of the people who said no have never taken painkillers? Or drank? Or smoked a cigarette? All of them are drugs.

i think time would be better spent telling us what will happen if we take the drug than banning them and loosing track of what they put in them because they are unregulated...

informed decisions and better control over how they are distrabuted vs drugs full of what ever gets added to make them cheeper to produce and no cheeper to buy

As for the people who say that painkillers and stuff are drugs, well they're right, but I'm asumming the person who made this question meant tobacco, marajuana, ( C A N T S P E L L ) and things of the sort.
