Any one ever tried kimchi?

So we actually have kimchi at our local asian store and I always been curious to try. I had a friend who has tried it and told me it's good but I also wanted to hear from other people if it's delicious? Also how do anda eat kimchi, do anda just eat straight out of the thingy atau do anda have to prepare atau cook it? ...of I could research it but curious to hear from other people.

Yeah I really cinta it. I eat it as a side dish with nasi, beras and vegetables atau noodles. anda can eat it as is atau anda can heat it up in a pan atau with other foods like a stir fry. I just prefer eating it as a sharp/spicy side dish. It loses its crunch when anda heat it.

I just wouldn't suggest eating it on its own with nothing else on the plate. It will be overwhelming.

It's not for everyone though. My partner doesn't like it. I think it's an acquired taste.

To be honest its not my thing but I believe kimchi is "pickled" and I'm known for not liking pickled things.

I had it with noodles, it was premade already so I've never cooked it before as all I had to do was heat it up in the microwave. It's not one of my favorit foods. I found it to be a little spicy but it was alright.

I hadn't heard of it before - I did a quick google cari on it - in case I may have eaten it but not know what it was called. I don't think I have eaten it. If a friend of mine offered me some of his / her food, I would cinta to try it - not sure if I would attempt to make it myself before tasting someone else's.

Yessssss it's amazing.

Personally I cinta it oleh itself but it is an acquired taste - anda have to be down with spiciness and cabbage-ness lol.

Also really really cinta it in scrambled eggs - just fry the kimchi oleh itself for about 2 - 3 mins and then add the beaten eggs. Tis a gift from the heavens :')

And like zeppie said, great with noodles and rice. 10/10 recommend kimchi fried rice.
