Do anda think lebih about the past, present, atau future? Do anda like atau dislike that about yourself and why?

I've been told alot recently that I'm always thinking too much about the future. I'm always planning things and trying to figure out what would be the best pindah to make next. I never thought of this as a bad thing and it's not like I don't enjoy life in the moment. I just don't want to stop thinking and making steps that could improve my future. I'm the kind of person who started saving for my retirement at 18 and started saving for a house at 12. I don't think this is a bad thing but lots of other people are making it sound like it is. What do anda think? What are anda like and what do anda think of those with a different logic?

Wish I were lebih like you. I'm the complete opposite, and I actually don't think that thinking a lot about the future is all that bad of a thing (unless your thinking too far into the future, in which case, anda might get too ahead of yourself atau become overwhelmed). It can make it simpler to prepare for any obstacles in your way, and to have the hindsight to take the right course of action. In fact, it's probably the best of any one way of thinking. I like to think of it as an analogy: To think of the past is like walking backwards down a road; anda won't be able see where you're going and could crash into anything at any moment, to think of the present would be like staring down at your feet as anda walk; same issue: won't be able to see where you're going, but to think of the future, that's looking straight ahead; you'll see exactly where you're heading.
Although, there are cons in that kind of thinking, as well. I like the saying, "An optimist with their head in the future is a blessing, but a pessimist with their head in the future is a curse." At the same time, I don't think it's really all that black and white though, anda need to know how to think about the future, while at the same time referencing past mistakes so that anda know not to repeat them. The sun can't rise tomorrow if it never sets today. Life is meant to be a series of trial and error and bettering ourselves.
I, unfortunately, am a bit scatter-brained when it comes to thoughts about the present atau future and I have the most stubborn brain in the world. I just can't seem to let go of the past, my mistakes, my regrets, my shame, the bad times that changed me, the good times that I know are behind me, my desire to start over. There really isn't a hari that goes oleh where I don't have a thought menyeberang, salib my mind that goes something like "I wonder what my life would be like now if that never happened," atau "Where would I be if I'd have done this instead of that," atau "Could I have been able to change that one thing back then with what I know now?" It's futile, though. The past is the past. Anytime a thought of the future would pop up, it seems to be a knee-jerk reaction for me to just dismiss it and repress it.
I always found it fascinating that every humans brains are all statistically 97% similar to each other, yet people have such different perspectives and inner conflicts. All in all, I think, so long as you're confident, strong, and unwavering, anda wont have to have as much concern over the angst of your past atau the apprehensions of your future. Sorry for talking so much, I just have a lot of thoughts on the matter.

Mmmm. Generally speaking the future. I spend a lot of time planning the future since it keeps my head to keep working through the present and to forget the past. The future is where I feel the most comfortable and it gives reason to what I am currently doing presently. I am known for having a plan for everything and always planning several years ahead and it gives me a lot of comfort doing that. Strategizing for financial conditions, goals, mental conditions, etc etc.

With that being said, I won't deny I spend a lot of time in the past. Not necessarily in a "what if" but in a lot in the fact I actually have to regularly pull myself back and remember the past to understand the present and the future. I forget A LOT of the past, but it is part of my therapy to think back to the past and go "Hey that is where this comes from. Okay I get it"

And that is also important.

Im very very not in the present though XD I suck at being present

That's a tough pertanyaan the lebih that I think about it...

Usually my brain switches between the future and past and both make me anxious and uneasy. My brain then settles on focusing on the present and it brings me a bit of peace. Following my whole take one hari at a time thing lately, it's helping. Worry will get me nowhere. So I'm trying to make the most of how I am in this present time.
