Does it annoy anda when kids and/or teens call themselves things that they really aren't and support things they know nothing about?

It's one thing if they've done their research and stuff, but doing it just so they look smarter atau so they'll be liked is another in my opinion. :I

Well what bothers me is when they self diagnose them for mental disorders they clearly know nothing about.

"I have ADHD because I cant focus on membaca my boring book"

"I have OCD because I have to have the TV volume on an even number"

"Im bipolar because I have mood swings."

"I have aspergers because I dont completely understand my friend"

"I have depression today."

atau on the reverse, they act like they know everything on it but in truth, all they do is spout out false myths on the mental disorders. Its not something that should be taken lightly and because of such, its a pet peeve of mine.

I was just browsing my way through the acak jawaban when I saw this response, and I decided to log on and tell anda that I absolutely agree with you. People who self-diagnose themselves, especially with the intentions of seeming "cooler" for their own social gains, disgust me to no end.

Yup, I really hate it when people pretend like they know everything. I never used to get annoyed oleh it and then my sister hit her middle school years.

Tbh there's alot of issues that isn't so black and white. It's like I could understand why some people get pissed off if berkata person uses "etc" in an extremely negative context atau a ditsy tone. But still just because it's a pet peeve doesn't mean it's morally good atau bad. Like for example if I use the word "Retarded" for anything besides an actual retarded person in its most literal sense. I'd get flamed when not too long yang lalu it wasn't that bad to call someone that. A few psychological terms have negative connotation YET "retarded" is the only one that people mainly bother about. Like for an example I am black but if someone use a racist joke and depending on the connotation chances are I may not be annoyed. And there's alot of people like that. Alot of times people that make jokes about being "OCD" etc tend to not necessary be insulting people who actually had it. People will make life of alot of things. For most scenarios I don't think it's necessarily morally wrong unless its something I highly disagree with. It depends on what anda agree and disagree with. So Imma stay neutral on this.

I agree with anda there, since once someone's an adult it's a lot harder to change.
