all i know is that it's weird that many ancient civilisations that would have had no contact with one another all focus on this same date, 10.21.12. it just beats me. i mean, yes, it is right that we will be in line with a black hole at that time, but i suppose it doesn't necessarily mean we'll be sucked into it. maybe it will happen but we wont notice. maybe we will be transported somewhere awesome. atau maybe it wont happen at all. either way, the earth will end soon anyway, because of how we are behaving, driving, lights on, energy wasting, pollution the air and water with aerosols and chemicals - how long do people think we've got if we keep doing that?? i mean, its ridiculous. and everyone can do their bit to help stop it. its not too late, but the world probably wont last past 300 years. because the O zone willbe fuked. and that's us for you. everyone wants to stop it but no one will do anything about it.

I agree so so much. Why's everybody freakin out ? The Lord will decide when the world is to end, and we shouldn't sit around waiting for that to happen . The world will end when God pleases, and we shouldn't be sittin here waiting for it too. We should be out , not waisting our lives.... i should take my own advice... hmmm....
Heres my opinion Yesus have lke 30 something and the years started after atau when hes was born and when he died he berkata that he will come back in 2000 years, that means he will come back in 2030 atau close to that, so when he come it will be the end of the world, thats my opinion
nope, I believe there's One who knows and He's not telling. I think it could happen at any time. Maybe tonight, maybe selanjutnya week, maybe selanjutnya year, maybe it will be in 2012, atau maybe 3052. it will end when it ends and every hari brings us closer, every hour, every minute, every second. it's unknown to us and I think we should stop trying to figure it out

Global Warming is gonna happen no matta wat, we will change with the Earth. No one really knows there is a metoer anywhere,. The world spinning? Why would anda doubt the law of gravity? Sorry, but plp on here saying that it will end have ABOSOLUTLY NO PROOF. Then again, neither do the plp who are denying it...so who knows?
the earth has been here for THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of years and humans have only been here for not even a tenth of that and weve only been industrilized for 200 yrs the earth has been through soooo!!! much lebih and i highly doubt any of us can make that big of an impact on it
I think what you's are all talking about is the Mayan calendar. Everyone thinks that the world is ending on the 21st of December 2012 because that is when the calendar ends.
Many people are saying that the Earths Magnetic Field is flipping, but don't worry this has happened before, over hundreds of thousands of years, however this flip will not destroy the Earth.
Others are saying that because on the 21st of December 2012, it is a solstice day, which means that on this hari the Sun will pindah to a unique spot in the sky and hold still for a while. Apparently the Sun will be sitting precisely on the crossroads between the Milky Way and the galactic equinox, which will form a perfect alignment with the centre of the galaxy. And when this happens, we are all supposed to be sucked into a Blackhole... also not true, as we have Solstice days every year.
But the Mayas didn't believe in endings. They believed that the concept of time was circular, that the end was the beginning of something new, that after the end of their calendar marked hari 1 of a new age of cinta and wisdom and peace.
I think it's impossible. I mean, think about it though. I still have a lot lebih years to live and so do most other people around here in this world. And I think it's obvisoluy impossible to predict if our world would really end at that time.

Well, I believe the idea came up because that's when the Aztec atau Mayan calender ends, and they've actually been pretty accurate about some events that have happened in the past. Nonetheless, no, I do not believe the world will end in 2012. I believe that no one knows when the world will end. But I do believe it will be in the current generation's lifetime.
Although Their are alot of Ancient Tellings of 2012, Their have been many in the past that have Failed so I highly Doubt It.

I dont think it will in 2012 but scientifically the sun is a bintang and there is a life cycle of a star......So its one of the larger ones and so when it gets close to dieing(some scientists say around 100 years from now) the sun will envolpe the earth lol but i dont think its anytime soon :P
my goegraphie teacher told us that! it takes like 8 menit for the light of the sun to reach earth ( i think that`s what she said) so if it blows up then we`re going to see it :( not a good thing...

lol, that's so funny. sigh.... but anda know what i think? That the world WILL some hari end. It may be in 2012 , it may be in 2 mins from now! It could be any milo-second of any detik of any menit of any jam of any hari of any week of any month, and any year. It could be any time, in 8098 atau 3096 atau 4432 atau any time. It's up to God to decide!
The world could end tomorrow too, it really doesn't matter when the world ends atau doesn't, as long as you've lived your life and are happy with it atau parts of it

I don't believe the world will end oleh 2012 atau 2030 but definitively, the way people lives will be very different than people of the 20th century, not only because the technology goes meneruskan, ke depan very fast but the global warming. No. The world ending in 2012 may be a good topic for a movie, but the world will not end in 2012. It may, but only if God decides to end it. Personally , i don't think they should have made the movie , anyway , because people are all freaked out now about it ending, and everybody dying. So people who are like that, just chill. Calm down. Even if the world does end, it'll be alright. It's the Lord's will, and if we die, we may go to a better place (if we go to heaven... we might go, anda know... down.)

welll in the bible God berkata that when the world ends he is going to take belivers in him to heaven (when i say with him i mean he is going to come back to earth and when he does hes gonna take Christians with him) then the earth is going to end

My uncle is a very religious person-very close to God for all his life, and this definitley sounds crazy, but he asked God to tell him when itll happen, and God supposedly berkata back to him something like, " sooner that anda think" I dont know if i believe that, but something is bound to happen. maybe not armageddon, but something. Swine flu? natural disasters? it kinda looks like the apocolypse is already starting, so i guess anything can happen. funny story-i graduate in 2012 and i think it will be like a scary movie-senior year, graduation, happy times, everything is awesome then BAM! end of the world! we all die! there is a movie coming out in theaters november about this right?

I think it's sort of exciting, instead of tripping out over it, I would be absolutely fine if the world ended in 2012, atau if I died tomorrow. Either way, I'm just gonna keep on living my life the way it is now.

Hi Everyone!! Seems like most opinions dealt with believing in 2012 coming true. I do believe that 12-21-2012 will be a life altering hari for everyone but not the end of this world. anda have to remember in the bible it tells us how we will never know the time Yesus is going to return until he surprises us all! It says how he will come like a thief in the night where anda will never even know he is present! Also the hari that he will come we will never know because he does not want us to know. The lord does not want us to prepare for this hari but he wants us to be good people who been trying to do good their whole life! I believe maybe for the ones who are ignorant to all of their surroundings might just get a wake up call! In any sense there are so many things we can not understand why try to predict something before it happens just let life happen first! The only reason we would worry really when this is going to happen is if we are going to meet God and really worrying is useless. Live your life everyday right because its one less stress from an already stressful day!
