How much does it suck that so many people-especially those of actual African descent- call natural African hair "nappy" just because of it's texture?

I mean, seriously, it shouldn't be labeled that simply because it doesn't grow downward like hair of other nations. African hair is meant to be like that to give the scalp alat pendingin, pendingin air. I hate it that so many people hate something of themselves so much- just because the delusional media portrayed something different as lebih beautiful than the other- that they go out their way to change it! Sickening, isn't it? Oh, and long time, no see, Fanpop!
