Previously: The city of Absolution is said to be a place of holiness and purity. A place of divine importance.....at least that's how it was described in the old stories of legend. Despite it's clean exterior sin runs rampant in it's streets, hidden in the most inconspicuous places. It's a silent battle between angels and demons for the souls that reside there. Sometimes these battles get a little out of hand, but there's nothing that a simple memory wipe can't handle. Except for a few 'special' cases in which some humans are sensitive or in rarer cases, not even human at all. This conflict can't stay silent forever, a soul can only be stretched so far before it tares and all chaos breaks loose.

Now: The city has fallen to the demons. Everything is in ruin and despair. Despite all of this there as still those who seek to bring it back from the edge. Rebels who are willing to risk everything to take it back.
