Pretty Little Liars: New Clues About the Girls' Lives After the Big Time Jump

, following Season 6’s impending five-year time jump, but we do know their next steps will find them crossing paths with several interesting gentlemen.

TVLine has learned exclusively that two male characters will recur in the second half of Season 6: Jordan, a sophisticated-yet-approachable 27-year-old working in the fashion industry, and Liam, a 24-year-old editorial assistant from Boston.

Could these new additions provide hints as to where the girls will end up in five years? Publishing seems like a perfect fit for budding-writer Aria, and I’ll give you one guess as to which girl I see working in fashion. (Then again, Aria’s current interest in photography also puts her in the running for a fashion-related career, and I could totally see Spencer in publishing. The mysteries continue!)

“We’ve been talking about [the time jump] for years,” executive producer Oliver Goldstick told TVLine back in March. “This is the same group of writers who have been here since Day 1, so a lot of the ideas that have been bandied about, even two or three years ago, are just now coming to fruition. We’ve had the writing on the wall — literally, on the board of our writers room — as to where these girls are going to end up. But we’re surprising ourselves, too. There are some juicy developments that we didn’t expect, which I think the audience is going to love.”

I can see Hanna working in the Fashion industry and Engaged or Married to Caleb. Yes they broke up last night but I don’t see that lasting

I imagine Maya came back alive in S6 episode 10 in front of Emily and in time jump Emily will be working as a teacher or a couch and Maya as a police officer. Emaya got married and had a baby.

Maya is dead. Get over it. Emily and Alison will be together by the end of the series.

How about Emily gets married or something but not to Alison. Maya is dead Christie Maya is dead.

I’m about to disappoint Ezria fans, But I hope that their breakup is permanent. I’d like to see her with someone new. I dont think Ezra’s a good fit for her anymore, now or in the five yr time jump.

I agree. I’ve shipped Ezria since the pilot, maybe because I had a crush on my high school English teacher who flirted openly with me but that’s a topic for another forum lol ;)

I agree, Ezria and Aria, I have liked them together since the beginning of the series.

They should show Emily getting married or something that would be a twist or maybe even Alison!

I really want to know if the A mystery will be fully wrapped up (the best they can do with it being dragged on for 6 years) before this time jump. Cause if not, it makes no sense for the girls to have 5 years with no A threats.

They should have, in my opinion, wrapped this A story back in season 3-4, had a new mystery that happens in Rosewood then in the season 6 finale have them all get another text from A which would lead to season 7 which would be the final season. This Charles plot line seems like it was pulled from a hat of possible endings by the showrunners.

I hope Spencer and tidy get married and Hanna has a baby.

My question is why the girls always have to end up with someone. Why can’t they just be independent, without a relationship? That includes Emily, and especially Aria. Their relationship has been dragged on for years.

Why do they have to end up with someone? Because most people like seeing romance on television dramas. They should have separate interests from their love lives, but I never get these comments that seem to be so anti love or relationships. Most people long for companionship. You can be a strong female and still be in love.

Well, I get that too. But it seems like that’s all the fans care about anymore rather than their interests and even well being. I’m not anti-love/relationships at all. Most of what I see anymore is all about the relationships and that’s not what the show was about in the first place. The producers even dislike how it’s all the fans care about anymore and I’m pretty sure Marlene has tweeted about that.

Aria will be in publishing and Hanna will be in the fashion industry.

Spencer better be a damn doctor or something as fabulous maybe a lawyer like mommy married to Toby while Emily is a coach, Aria a writer/publisher pining for Ezra, Alison dead, and Hannah married to Caleb looking fab working in the fashion industry

also i think spencer will end up as a drug dealer or in rehab or a lawyer

they will all be working and in college, maybe aria and ezra will get married and have kids, still trying to find out who A is…

I know That ezria has been going on for a long time because they are soul mates man jake /karate kid i never like and andrew like come on ariah deserves better and if andrew really cared about ariah he would have been there with ezra caleb and toby looking for the girl not acted all shady spying on spencer’s mom and yes i know andrew isnt A! ok any way i want to see ezria have a baby like really badly and if liam is ariah’s bf i hope they break up

P.s i think spencer should date toby but maybe liam is her new bf because after all spencer has a thing with smart intelligent british boys lol:)

I honestly really hate the time jump idea. I wish they would just have the girls in college and then time jump I guess at the end of season 6 into season 7. I’ve been a loyal viewer since season one but I think this might make me stop watching.

Why does Alison look prego this season?

Would like to see them as a group open a business in Rosewood. A private detective and investigation agency. I would want Spencers married to Toby. Aria married to her teacher. Caleb and Hanna married. Allison married to the black cop. Emily married to her latest girlfriend from the swim team. I think the girls are good with solving mysteries so they would do well being detectives in the private industry.
