While I like Lugia better, HG has a couple of version-specific Pokemon I like more - Sandshrew and Phanpy, respectfully. After the debacle of FR and LG (I got FR first because I like red/Charizard more, but realized too late LG had SEVERAL version-specific Pokemon I wanted more than anything) I now go for the version that has version-specific Pokemon I want more instead of the color or mascot I like better.
