^That wasn't in the real Japanese version of Pokémon. 4Kids, the U.S. producers for pokemon at the time, added that in there.

I'll be honest, 4Kids did make a huge deal of Misty liking Ash, but not EVERY hint we see is only in the dubbed version. I wouldn't be supporting PokéShipping if 4Kids added each and ever hint.
