Ok, this might sound stupid but I really need to know...

It was actually the Pirates Of The Caribbean RIDE at disney World, that inspired the films. Jack Sparrow was a completely new character invented for the film and he and the franchise became a hit. From the success of the films, disney started doing what it does best and started merchandising the film, which included novels based on the film.

So its; RIDE->MOVIE-> BOOKS

The film came out first!
And their awesome!!!

I don't know exactly but in the buku there are the deleted scenes from the movie as well.

Well, I know POTC: COTBP was made into a book, but the movie was made first. anda can tell because the book is only around 100-200 pages long, and it totally blew. Did they make buku out of the other ones?

The buku called the jack sparrow series were being written while the ride was being made. The jack sparrow series is before jack had the pearl. Then after the 1st movie came out Irene trimble wrote the a book called curse of the black pearl. Similar to the movie.

basically, the buku come out before the film because the want to spoil the movies. and actually the film are based on a ride at disney world,
