Next chappie, hope anda enjoy.
It's hard to concentrate when you're being constantly watched over oleh a flat-headed pinguin, penguin who is barely taller than you. But I had to, I had no choice. He wouldn't trust me unless he puts me under constant servailance. He has to see if I'm up to anything fishy, ha, no pun intended.
So, awkward silences are always between us. The rest are out doing recon, so I try to make small talk, but he won't talk much. Ok, I understand that he's paranoid, but that doesn't mean he can't comunicate with me, does it?
"So, what kind of ikan do anda have in your coffee?"
"Classified."
"Okay, um...what kind of experiments does Kowalski do?"
"Classified."
"Is that all anda can say?"
"Classified."
Now I'm mad.
"Look here, Skippy-Boy, there's no point being paranoid. I am NOT a spy. I promise you."
"Don't call me Skippy-Boy."
"Oh, Skipper," I lean on my elbows and rub my temples, trying to figure out what to say.
I look up to strange noise. I gasp.
"What the...?" I say, and gasp again.
Skipper has grown to the size of a human, but he was still a penugin. His eyes are glowing red and he grows fangs in his beak.
"Wait a minute," I yell. "Penguins aren;t supposed to have teeth."
"I am not a penguin," he hisses. Literally hisses. His voice has changed to a scary, hoarse growl and it hisses.
"Then what are you?" I ask, trying not to tampil how frightened I am.
"I am a demon-penguin,"
"So, technically, you're a penguin. anda just have the word 'demon' in front."
"Oh stop being a smart-alec." he snarls. "I know you're scared."
"M-me? Scared?" I think about what I am scare of. Actually, I'm frightened oleh quite a few things, but let's not git into that now. I have to be brave to face this monstrosity.
I look around the HQ, trying to find something to stop this beast. My eyes fix on Rico's bazooka, bazoka launcher. I dive-roll towards it, and sntach it up.
"Eat this, fish-breath," I shout, aiming at his face.
"Don't anda dare," the Skipper-monster growls. He swipes a flipper at me, kncking me off my feet. The bazooka, bazoka skids across the room.
I struggle to my feet, shaken, but not hurt. I run towards the bazooka, but he gets it before me.
"Eat this, fish-breath," he hisses, aiming the bazooka, bazoka and firing.
I am scared frozen. I can't move, as if I am glued to the floor. The bazooka, bazoka misil, rudal is coming towards me and I can't get out of the way. I guess this is the end for me. I close my eyes and brace myself.
I wake up and fall of the ledge I am sleeping on.
"AHHH, BAZOOKA!" I scream, startling the penguins awake.
"What the deuce?" Skipper snaps, lowering his defence pose. "There's no bazooka."
"I know," I say, calming down a bit. "It was just a dream." I look over at Skipper, who was glaring at me. I sigh with relief.
"Good," I say. "You're not a demon-penguin."
"Are anda openly insulting me?" Skipper asks angrily.
"No, no," I quickly assure. "I mean, anda were a demon-penguiun in my dream."
"Is that all?" Kowalski asks. I nod.
"Yeah, just a dream."
"Then can we go back to sleep?" Skipper says, and his team hop into their bunks.
I lie back down on the floor, attemping to fall asleep again. I hear my name whispered.
"CC," I look over at the bunks and see Private sitting up and looking at me.
"Yeah Private?"
"Do anda want to sleep in my bunk? I can sleep on the floor."
"That's ok," I say, smiling at him. "I'm fine here."
"Ok," he says. He sounds slightly disappointed. I shrug it off and close my eyes.
"What a sweet kid," I mutter. I fall asleep again and have no lebih dreams.
