i just wanted to know what people thought about it not cause a fight over a tv show

First of make no mistake about this, I hate Brucas, HOWEVER to anyone to think that Brucas was just a fling is completely ridiculous...they clearly loved each other, they just didn't have the kind of love that was meant to last forever...obviously the entire show was written to have leyton be together...but that doesn't mean that brucas was fling...lucas loved her...get the fuck over it :)

i'll admit... i was surprised when Brucas actually lasted as long as they did. but never did i think that they were going to last till the end. it was clear from the pilot who Mark wanted his endgame couple to be :)

honestly brucas got into waaaaaaay too many fights over stupid thjings while they were together. :/ they werent meant for each other!!

thank you J i know that they were meant for each other but with the way things were going in season 2 and 3 it was going to and where the hell did you get the idea that Brucas was a fling they were in love and if you can't see that go back and watch because they were.

if i thought that brooke was right for lucas i would have loved brucas even though i hate brooke...i mean hate peyton more than i like her but i love leyton cuz i think she's perfect for lucas, who you all know i love :))

and umm fyi but just because leyton didn't technically date in the beginning doesn't mean mark didn't have them together...cuz he most certainly did...one of the reasons why the 1st season is still my favorite and why the pilot will forever be my second favorite episode

Brucas wasn't a fling but I'll agree that Leyton wasdestined to be from the first ep.

Brucas were never forever BUT they were not a fling either. They both loved each other at a point and at first in season 1 maybe it was kinda like a fling but it didn't really stay that way. I have never like the Brucas relationship because it seemed so unstable and insecure. Brooke kept on asking if and why Luke loved her. Sorry but not ONCE when Leyton were together did Peyton ever need Lucas to explain why he was with her and why he loved her. Leyton's relationship was more stable but I am not going to lie and say that Brucas were just a fling. They were together in s1 and s3...that isn't really what I call a "fling". Brucas would have ended up drifting apart sooner or later....

Lucas really did love Brooke..and she loved him back..I loved Brucas together...but somehow I always knew that Luke will end up with Peyton..he had feelings for her since like 8th grade or somethin..

I honestly thought they would last in season 3..BUT..screw ot all..

I`m a HARDCORE Leyton fan . Like I have Leyton running through my veins and I can say that Brucas was not a fling . This pick is just as asinine as the ones that say Leyton has no chemistry .

this pick is lame. brucas wasnt a fling bottom line. and yea at one point i did thnk they would last. just like i thought jeyton would. then the writers had to go and hit their heads and ruin everything srting from that epi in s3 where everything almsot seemed perfect till peyton said something totally stupid. grrr.

Everyone already said what I wanted to say - Brooke may have been lucas' fling in the beginning, but by season 2/3, they unexpectedly fell in love. They truly did love each other and though I never was a fan, they were cute and genuine. Their love just didn't run deep enough to last beyond the confines of immaturity in highschool. The seeds of their doom were planted from the beginning. Everytime brucas seemed to get closer, there would be more hints that they just weren't meant to be. They were so passionately infatuated in their love that for a time, they were certain they were the ones for each other. But as they grew, they realized they didn't know each other all that well - and they grew apart (brooke was quicker to realize it than luke). And let's not forget that Luke was lying to himself after he and peyton ended things at the end of the first season. He later admitted (409) that his heart always lied with Peyton - so that lingering truth up till then didn't help brucas' case either :P
I won't make a list cause that's a long conversation/debate that I'm not in the mood to get into right now :P
