brooke and sophia are my faves, it hasnt always been this way, but i love the way sophia acts her scenes, and in turn that has made me love brooke even more but i still love brooke for her own story and journey and the personality she brings to the show.

In season 1, my fav character was lucas. and chad added great life to the character. As the seasons went by, chad got lazy, but lucas was still my fav character up to the end of season 4. However chad was NOT my favorite actor anymore (by s3). I guess Joy would have been my only favorite actress throughout the seasons (she was consistently strong and stood out in s3/4).

By season 5, Hilarie STEPPED UP! Peyton grew as a character (in maturity, emotions and more) and Hilarie really hit me hard with her growth as an actress. Amazing performance this season. The strongest of them all. By 5.06 I knew she was my FAV actress and by 5.08 Peyton was my favorite character hands down.

Chad/Luke comes in second. He brought it this season too! Big jump from s4 (his weakest season of all). Luke as a character always intrigues me (despite his shortcomings this season). I think/hope he'll redeem himself next season (as long as he doesn't CHANGE his mind about who he wants to be with again - I believe he'll finally stop running from his heart & make his final decision, and stick with it - but that's up to mark).
