If it comes to the others I think every character had a lot of problems with family, but I chose Brooke because she never had anyone in her life in fact (I didn't consider Bitchoria as a mother because which mum says own child she didn't want her/him in her life like brattynemz mentioned?). Brooke was like orphan, while the rest of core 5 felt loved and appreciated most of the time... Confusing much? Sorry.

Peyton's life was always miserable and she had no luck when it comes to family, but at least she had some time with her dad, she knew he loved her, and both her mom's loved her.

i definitely think brooke had the worst when it came to family...she in reality didn't really have anyone, no one that loved her and no one to love...and i think the biggest decidin factor in it is that she didn't dwell on any of that really like the other 4 did, she put on a facade of what she thought everyone else wanted from her...which made me feel bad for her cause she felt like she couldn't share her true feelings with the people she cared about the most!! :(

Peyton. Her life seemed perfect. Loving parents and everything, but then her mom dies. Then all of a sudden she finds out she's adopted and just when she's getting close to her real mom she dies. Then she finds out she has a brother, who at first wants nothing to do with her. Finally, she meets her real dad who turns out to be a jerk. And I guesse the whole pregnency crap is part of family drama too.

It's pretty much a tie between Nathan and Brooke.

While Brooke's parents were never there, Dan was always pressuring Nathan and expecting too much of him.

Victoria told Brooke that she never wanted in her life.
And Dan told Nathan that he could never be good enough.
Both are awful things to hear, especially when both of them (Brooke & Nathan) always tried to impress their parents.

Lucas didn't have a father, but he was loved by his mom.
And Peyton was loved by her dad, even though he was away most of the time.

They all had pretty bad lives parent wise.
I think that Peyton had the worst luck, she lost her mom and then had to go through it all over again. Once is bad, but twice is heartbreaking.
Nathan had it bad with Dan, even though deep downim certain he's a good person.
Lucas had Karen, and she was worth 10 of Dan anyway, and for the majoroty he had Keith(untill he died :( )
Everybody had though a parent that cared. Peyton-Larry. Lucas-Karen. Nathan-Deb. Brooke never had anyone tbh, she always had noone that cared. Its hard to lose someone like peyyton did, but at least she knew ellie and her mom didnt leave by choice. Brooke was just left, untill the Brichtoria scene, at the end of season 6, when they finally worked it out (:

No offense to Peyton, but she did not have it the worst. Her adoptive mother & her birth mother died, but so what? That doesn't take away from how loved she was. It was made clear that Anna {adoptive mother} loved and adored her, and look at Ellie, she couldn't die without getting to meet her daughter and spend time getting to know her. And yeah, Larry spent a lot of time away from home, but it was obvious that they still had a good relationship.

Brooke on the other hand... Come on guys, not only were her parents never around all throughout high school, they didn't care about what was best for her or anything she might have struggled with, they only cared about themselves. And Victoria flat out admitted that she had never wanted a child. I love that she has changed and is being a good mother to Brooke now, but I'm sorry, I'd rather have parents that loved me unconditionally and died over parents who never gave a shit and were never around.

well everyone else pretty much said what i was gonna say. Nothing is worse then having your mother tell you she never wanted you. Brooke spent most of her life just looking for her parents attention and she got nothing back in return. she practically raised herself. atleast peyton knew she had parents who loved her. Brooke never had that reaasurance, peyton's mom might have been physcially dead, but brookes might have been as well, since she was dead to brooke in every other aspect. and do i even have to explain nathan. he had a father who never thought nathan was good enough. i think sometimes its soo much worse to live with people that only bring you down and fill your life with frsutration and dissapointment than to lose people who you knew loved you.

No offence guys,but you`re talking bulshit!Every one who says Brooke had it worst,I`m not sure if you understand what you`re saying...I lost my mother of cancer and may I just say to you,this is the worst.Losing someone you have so many amazing memories with and someone you`ve had so many dreams,hopes and plans for the future with...hurts like hell.
So yeah,Peyton and Luas had it the worst.
