I'm not sure, cuz it is kind of predictable that it is Lucas on the phone and it's just like One Tree Hill to surprise us. But the way she says "i need to talk to you" sounds like the way she talks to Lucas..but i'm MIFFED.

i think it probaly was Luke but the show is not known for it's predictability i think if it wasn't Luke it might have been Brooke that is really the only other person i think of her calling.

i think know b/c peyton wouldn't tell him something like that over the phone and he is in la so its not like he can rush back really quick! i thought she might have called brooke b/c she walks in the house after peyton is talking on the phone so who knows. And then since oth is known for their crazy 180s it could be anyone cough jake cough ;)! it honestly could be anyone maybe her brother or it could be larry i really hope he comes back or it could even be karen i would so love for her to come back! anyways i'll stop rambling now i guess will just have to wait til jan 5 to see

It won't be Jake, because the first thing she says is "i need to tell you something" ..if it were Jake it would have been a completely different conversation. but i see your point!

i'm not positive that it's not luke, but I think that would be predictable. I mean, just like in 501 when Peyton was on the phone with a mystery person that kinda made us think it was luke with the way peyton was talking. but it ended up being brooke.

I think that it might have been Brooke but then it could be Lucas but I think thats to predictable for Mark.

i doubt Peyton would tell Luke something THAT big over the phone. and i found it weird how every other time that Lucas and Peyton are talking to eachother on the phone, the show makes a point for them to mention their names... so we know who they are talking to. but this time, Peyton didn't say anyone's name. i agree with abs07... just like in 5.01, i think they want us to THINK that she's talking to Lucas, but she's not. i think she's probably talking to Brooke, or her dad, or her brother or someone. i would hope that she would want to tell Lucas something that big in person... not over the stupid phone lol. but who knows, i could be wrong!

same here..i didn't even consider the possibility that it might not be Luke, but then i thought about it and i am not so sure anymore.

well... she felt totally guilty about not telling him about Julian, so if she didn't, it'd just be repeating. But you never know. It could have been her dad or Derek she called. But I'm pretty sure it's Luke.
