it always bugs me how people say things like "lucas should find out first about the robbery" when clearly luke loves peyton AND peyton is brooke's best friend. in my opinion, Peyton is a GREAT friend.

It bugs me when people say P.Sawyer isn't Brookes best friend. If you think Peyton hasn't been the best to Brooke and think Brooke deserves a better friend fine, (although i think that's a bunch of bull!) but that is different to "who is Brooke's best friend".

Brooke says Peyton is her best friend - Peyton says Brooke is her best friend - i really don't see how anyone can say otherwise when the characters acknowledge each other as best friends!!

I agree Laurra the scene where Peyton shows Brooke the clothes she wrestled away from those girls is so cute! If Petyon knew what really happened it would be even cuter!

Haley is her best friend because she has NEVER hurt her and she never went behind Brooke;s back and who was there for Brooke in S3 and S4? Loved Braley in S3 and 4. I loved how they helped each other with Brucas and Naley. And even now Haley and Nathan are the only ones that are concerned about Brooke.
I want Lucas to be the first one because 1)Peyton had her chance and she doesnt deserve to know, 2) Lucas promised her that he'd rescue her, and 3)Brooke and Lucas are always there for each other.

Ummmm how did a question about who is Haley's best friend once again turn into Brucas. Anyway the question isn't who should be Brooke's best friend, it's who is...and that person is Peyton. They've said it a million times. And they've both been there for each other for forever and really Nathan and Haley are the only one's that are concerned about Brooke? Lau your post is just perfect! You're so right but that what's I ALWAYS say so I guess it's not a surprise for you that I agree with your comment. Lucas is like almost never there for Brooke so I don't get how he could be Brooke's best friend. Concerning Nathan, well I really liked to see go to see her and talk about Dan and saying he could understand what she was going through. But if I'm not totally crazy I think it was one of the 1st time they had such a conversation. Haley is a great friend to everyone and she has been there for Brooke so many times (especially in s 3 & 4). She went to talk to her by the pool but she didn't offer her help, she offered the number of her THERAPIST. Yeah really nice! It was like " I don't have any time for you so go and talk to someone else". So yeah she's a good friend but not her BEST friend. Peyton doesn't believe the "I fell down the stairs" stuff. But what can she do? Beg Brooke to tell her the truth? So offered her help, she tried to ask Brooke what was wrong and Brooke said she didn't want to talk about it. She hid in her room while Peyton was moving, she asked for her keys, Peyton called several times but she didn't answer the phone. Maybe it's Brooke who is just trying to push her best friend away. But as usual some people always say that it's Peyton fault and I don't get it. Maybe I should try to watch OTH wearing sunglasses and earplugs and then maybe I could understand why some people can't see that Peyton's her best friend.
