They obviously needed a break.After all the things they've done for the past 6 years.Going on tour to different places,making new albums,songs and music videos.
They deserve it.The guys feel tired after all their hard work.I respect that they want to take a break for a while.

They didn't "split", they're just on hiatus. They promised they'd be back.

They're taking a break because they need a break.The guys are tired from doing all those shows,music videos,interviews,albums and songs.They need to rest and take a break from it all.Luckily the'll be back and they might make new music whenever they're ready.

They need a break from all the things they did.

Zayn is not the reason guy.. If he is then how come Harry already made over 4 songs in this little break? I feel like he started making solo right after Zayn left which means he must have already thought of making some solos. I am not blaming Harry either! The band really needed a break to think over if they want to get back together. I wish they do. BTW Harry is my fav if anybody is offended by my comment.
