In news that will potentially crush your soul and break your heart at the same time, a fan\'s picture of a music channel\'s description of One Direction\'s \'History\' claims that their live X Factor performance is the "new video" for the single.

We\'re hoping that this is all just one big misunderstanding, but the choice of words has left us feeling a bit insecure about our chances of seeing Louis Tomlinson in a nostalgic pair of suspenders just one more time. 

The images are taken from two different music channels, with the description on the first one being the most stressful to read. 

The caption from The Box reads: "Live! One Direction\'s History vid. We welcome the new video from the incredible One Direction!", while the caption on VIVA reads: "One Direction: History! Live Vid! Check out 1D\'s last live performance before their hiatus! We are sure this one will go down in \'History\'!"

Although we could just be interpreting the wording the wrong way, it\'s been just over a month since the boys announced the single change from \'Infinity\' to \'History\' and we STILL don\'t have a music video.
