Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and One Direction touch down in Sydney to kick off world tour
Zoom in on this story. Explore all there is to know.
Touchdown to kick-off: One Direction members Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Harry Styles have arrived in Australia on the eve of their next world tour.
One Direction have arrived in Sydney ahead of the start of their world tour.
Teenage fans gathered outside Sydney Airport this morning to catch a glimpse of Harry Styles, 21, Louis Tomlinson, 23, and Zayn Malik, 22, as they arrived to begin preparations for their On The Road Again tour which kicks off at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.
Malik travelled from London, while Styles and Tomlinson flew together from Los Angeles after attending Styles\' 21st birthday party.
The party was an A-list affair, with Cara Delevigne, Kelly Osbourne and David Beckham among the celebrity guests attending.
Fellow band members Liam Payne and Niall Horan, both 21, are already in Australia.

Payne flew into Sydney on Wednesday. A keen surfer, Payne took to Twitter to complain about the overcast weather Sydney has experienced this week. He tweeted: "Great to be back in Australia...but just where is the sun?"

Horan has been on holiday in Melbourne for the past week, spending time with his family while watching the Australian Open.
The Irish band member made headlines when he was seemingly snubbed by Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios.
Channel Seven\'s backstage footage appeared to show 19-year-old Kyrgios ignoring Horan as they passed in a corridor.
It has been less than three months since the One Direction boys were last down under. The band, who were originally discovered by music mogul Simon Cowell on the UK version of The X Factor, performed at the ARIA Awards in November, receiving the public-voted award for Best International Artist.
The On The Road Again tour will stay in Sydney for two nights, before moving to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The band will tour 19 countries in total, finishing in the UK on October 31.
So real is the #1D hysteria that supermarket chain Aldi will release a special "One Direction Fever" commemorative line of merchandise next Wednesday. Items include a One Direction version of the game Twister, love candy, an assortment of throw pillows and pyjamas.
